Pleasanton DowntownAs the name suggests, Pleasanton is a quaint suburban city in the San Francisco East Bay with safe neighborhoods, unique downtown restaurants and boutiques, and a high performing school system. Pleasanton is continually ranked in the top 50 best cities to live because of its all-inclusive town. You needn’t travel far to access everything you could want, including the very large Stoneridge shopping mall, 1,200 acres of recreational park space, Callippe golf course, Firehouse Arts Center, historic downtown, and easy access to BART and highways I-580/680. Pleasanton is an easy work commute distance to both San Francisco and Silicon Valley, though many find work in Pleasanton itself as it is home to over 4,000 companies.

Downtown Pleasanton plays host to colorful history that can be seen in the walls of the old buildings that have been repurposed for the town. Stories of presidents come and gone, Seabiscuit, escaped bank robbers, and tales of Prohibition-era speakeasies and racketeers. The Alameda County Fairgrounds hosts over 300 events a year ranging from the largest County Fair that kicks off each summer to weddings and corporate events. All year round the Fairgrounds are a bustling with exciting attractions for the whole family. The Firehouse Arts Center hosts all sorts of art related events from paintings in the gallery, film series, and theater performances.
