San Ramon

San Ramon HomesSan Ramon’s Central Park is a great place to bring the dog and the family for an afternoon of sun, barbecuing, and making memories. Each year the Art and Wind Festival takes over Central Park with booths full of local art, great cuisine, different wines, and even fun carnival-like games for the kids. Memorial Park was constructed to honor a San Ramon resident, Tom Burnett, and all other victims of Flight 93 and 9/11. The lighted flagpole and surrounding meadow was dedicated on September 11, 2002.

The City of San Ramon offers a wide variety from quaint neighborhoods to corporate offices and headquarters. It is home to Chevron, 24-Hour Fitness, and AT&T’s West Coast headquarters. Bishop Ranch office parks offer a variety of jobs, shopping, and restaurants. Being a part of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, San Ramon brings education to the foreground in this East Bay city. San Ramon also has a new City Hall building to boast about along with the ever-anticipated City Center underway set to debut in 2017. This new City Center will be the downtown hub that this city never had, complete with 70 retail tenants covering 350,000 square feet, a central piazza, restaurants, and even a multi-screen movie theater. The project is underway after its initial approval in 2008.
